TIPS for a Successful Road Trip!!!

1. Using your OWN vehicle, make sure the vehicle is properly checked by a licenced mechanic.

2. If you are RENTING, ask for a maintenance report of the vehicle that you are renting.

3. Do your self a favour, get an INSURANCE (if renting, it really provides a peace of mind). based on my personal experience, it saved us from paying a lot from an accident we had. Whew! it's been a while but that was really close.

4. Plan ahead – stop over, food, gas, length of driving time, distance to drive, hotels, motels, destinations etc.

5. Don't Forget First Aid Kit!

6. Learn how to change flat tire.

7. Bring a Cell Phone. A must!

8. Although GPS is really neat, Maps are sure thing to have while getting to Calgary.

9. Make sure to have an alternate driver (if driving alone, know your limit!).

10. Try to enjoy scenic views NEVER speed up.

11. Follow the Highway or Traffic Laws.
(Traffic patrols are everywhere so be ALERT.
