Why I Built This Website!

Calgary has been my home for the last 11 years. I am originally from the Philippines and immigrated to Canada in 1997. Ever since I moved here from Saskatchewan to take my degree in business, I never looked back.

Why Calgary for me???
The city has a lot to offer. The awe inspiring surroundings is one of them. The majestic Rocky Mountains is truly indeed a beautiful sight. You can never be tired looking at it. It brings me joy and sense of wonder all the time.

Calgary is very rich in culture from its native people, its western roots, and from its diverse population coming from different parts of the world.

There's always something for you to do all year around here in Calgary. You can visit the mountains in the summer or winter. You can watch numerous world-class events in and around the city. Dine in to many of Calgary's finest restaurants or visit parks to enjoy the outdoors. Finally, don't forget about Calgary's famous attractions such as The Tower, Devonian Garden, Heritage Park, Glenbow Museum, The Calgary Zoo and many more.

These are just of the reasons why I love Calgary. And that is why I created www.calgary-travel-guide.com. I want to share you the beauty and the opportunity Calgary brings to its residents and visitors.
